Important Dates & Grant Process
The Black Women Give Foundation supports nonprofit organizations serving underserved communities of color in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Applications from organizations that do not primarily serve these communities will not be considered.
Applications are accepted only through the official BWGive grant submission process. Incomplete applications, missing required attachments, or submissions received after the application period closes may be removed from consideration. Applicants should submit only the materials specifically requested in the application.
Organizations that have previously received BWGive funding must be current on all required grant reports and deliverables to be eligible for future consideration.
The BWGive grant review process is led by member-supported grant review committees, which evaluate applications and make funding recommendations.
Grant recipients are required to enter into a grant agreement with BWGive outlining the use of awarded funds, reporting expectations, and participation in evaluation activities. Recipients may also be required to submit progress updates, final reports, and documentation of grant expenditures.
