How to Apply

Eligible organizations must submit a complete application through the official BWGive grant application process during the active application period. Applications should clearly describe the organization’s mission, the proposed program or initiative, the community being served, anticipated outcomes, and how grant funding will be used.

As part of the review process, applicants may also be asked to provide supporting documentation, participate in interviews, or take part in additional review activities such as site visits.

Before applying, we encourage organizations to consider how their proposed program or initiative aligns with our mission and funding priorities.

Applicants should consider whether the program:

  • Creates long-term, positive community impact

  • Expands opportunities and access for underserved communities of color

  • Includes measurable goals and evaluation methods

  • Addresses specific community needs and challenges

  • Encourages collaboration and partnership with other organizations

  • Demonstrates strong community engagement and organizational support

  • Effectively incorporates volunteers, leadership, or community stakeholders into the program’s success
